CALLING ALL PURR-FECT PETS: ONE WEEK LEFT TO ENTER LOCAL RSPCA’S VIRTUAL CAT SHOW

Aug 24, 2026

Halifax, UK — Get your cameras ready and your paws in position! The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford branch’s Virtual Cat Show 2026 is open for one more week and you’re invited to enter!

The local, self-funded branch of the RSPCA is inviting cat owners across the region – and beyond – to show off their superstar kitties and compete in cat-egories including “Senior Kitizens”, “Best Pose” and “Eyes That Mesmerise”, all from the comfort of home.

With entries closing on Monday 31st August 2026, winners will be announced on Thursday 3rd September and can expect to receive a beautiful, branded rosette in the post. Owners can enter their favourite feline photos across 10 fun-filled classes designed to celebrate every kind of kitty, from quirky to chilled out. Judges will evaluate all entries and award 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Highly Commended rosettes for every class – plus every 1st place winner will also receive a delicious treat via post!

“We can’t wait to see the incredible kitties entering this year, and have already had lots of outstanding entries!” said Fay Gibbons, Digital Manager “The Virtual Cat Show is a wonderful way for our community to celebrate their beloved pets while supporting the vital rescue work we do every day. We absolutely love seeing everyone’s beautiful felines, and are so grateful to everyone who takes part and helps raise funds to help more animals.”

Finalists and winning entries will be showcased across the branch’s official website and social media channels once winners are revealed on September 3rd.
