What will I learn?
Receiving and checking evidence of both import and export declarations is vital to ensure compliance with international trade but is often an overlooked step by many companies. In this course we look at the importance of this process and how to decipher a customs declaration.
Specifically, we cover:
- Why it is so important to check customs declarations
- Understanding the codes used within the declaration
- Navigate volume 3 of the UK Trade Tariff
- How to rectify mistakes in a declaration
- How the declaration can be used to meet evidential requirements
