Member news; Could a Student Consultancy Project help your organisation?

Jan 15, 2025

Are you a local business experiencing challenges with time, resource or expertise to advance your business objectives? We are seeking new briefs for our Student Consultancy Projects. Would you like to be involved?
Our student consultancy projects offer some tailored, practical solutions to address your organisation’s current business challenges or opportunities, to be completed over 16 weeks from May 2025.

Business benefits
• Practical recommendations tailored to your business needs
• No financial cost to you, as this forms part of our student’s MSc programme
• Our students have worked with businesses, charities and public sector organisations to explore challenges or opportunities to add value to your activities.

Caremark (Kirklees) took part this year and shared:
‘We thoroughly enjoyed working with Business School Masters students. They were professional and engaged fully with us, making the most of all the opportunities we gave them for understanding our business, its culture, and the issues we face in the challenging arena of the health and social care sector. A really positive and unexpected outcome is that one of the students has become an employee on a temporary basis until February. The nature of the work our care assistants do resonated with him and his values, and he could see the opportunity for personal growth while serving others in the community.’
