Had-Print, previously named Mid Yorkshire Chamber Member of the Year in 2023, is reinforcing its commitment to regional economic growth through a strategic £40,000 investment aimed at expanding production capabilities and entering the Cumbria market through its new consumer focused brand, Apparel Monkey.
The Halifax-based print specialists is further expanding into custom embroidery and promotional garment through the acquisition of a high-performance 6-head ZSK embroidery machine from Leeds-based Stocks Sewing Machines Ltd. On top of this, they have upgraded their Direct-To-Film (DTF) printing technology. These enhancements will increase efficiency, reduce costs and allow the business to better support Chamber members across both regions.
Alongside technological investments, Apparel Monkey’s new DecoNetwork-powered e-commerce platform provides streamlined order processing, proposal creation and production management.
Operations Director Stuart Nimmo commented, “We believe in the benefits of working with like-minded businesses. Our reach through our partnerships with both Mid-Yorkshire Chamber and Cumbria Chamber reflects our commitment to strengthening business in the North of England.”
