This month, Beanstalk HR celebrates its second anniversary, a milestone that reflects two years of serving employers here in Yorkshire and across the UK. Since forming in 2022, they’ve had the privilege of supporting businesses of all sizes—helping them build their HR functions from the ground up, revamping existing systems, managing complex employee relations, training and coaching managers, and nurturing their workplace cultures and employer value propositions for sustainable growth.
In the past two years, they’ve introduced exciting new services, including their HR membership programme for micro to medium employers – The Pod – which offers valuable resources without breaking the bank.
“Reaching our two-year mark is testament to the trusted relationships we’ve built with our clients, who have supported us with their glowing recommendations,” shared Yvette Whitwam, founder and director. “Our mission has always been to bring our clients’ visions to life, partnering with them to create tailored solutions. I am incredibly proud of how Beanstalk has helped organisations become the employers they aspire to be.”
Tony Bowling from Farrar Bamforth Architecture in Huddersfield congratulated Beanstalk on their anniversary and remarked, “For a growing company like ours, having professional HR support is vital. Yvette has ensured that our contracts and policies are up to date and meet their legal responsibilities but work for us and our people as well. She’s always available to advise us on everything HR related such as strategies for attracting the right staff, retaining the staff that we have, and creating bespoke contracts when needed. She provides invaluable support to us on a flexible basis and saves us a huge amount of time and stress.”
Beanstalk’s ethos is to champion inclusivity, and to act with integrity and compassion even when faced with difficult situations. So, a natural partnership is that of fellow Chamber member The Kirkwood. Beanstalk proudly joined their Business Movement earlier this year, with Yvette becoming a Support Life Champion.
As they step into their third year, they’re excited to continue innovating their services. Looking ahead, they’ll be launching strategic tools that help businesses go beyond compliance with legal obligations, including the important duty to prevent sexual harassment. They’ll also be hosting a lunch and learn in 2025 for Chamber members to share valuable people management insights.
