HOT Networking – Financial Wellbeing for Life; Dealing with the awkward topic of money

HOT Networking takes place on the second Wednesday of every month, from 8am – 10am, at the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre, Halifax.

Designed to be relaxed, friendly, and genuinely useful, HOT Networking allows time to connect with other professionals while also enjoying insightful talks that can positively impact the way you work and grow your business. The event is hosted by local Calderdale charity Halifax Opportunities Trust, in partnership with Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and AD:Venture.

This month, we welcome Najinder Devgun (Naj)who is the Founder and Director of 20:20 Financial Planning Ltd, a regulated financial adviser, certified money coach, and former practising solicitor. He is passionate about helping people gain clarity, confidence, and control over their finances through a combination of high-quality financial advice and behavioural money coaching.

Money affects almost every area of our lives, yet it people still find it hard to talk about money. This session explores why money and finances can feel overwhelming, how our attitudes and beliefs shape our financial decisions, and the simple steps we can take to build greater confidence and control. We’ll discuss how to communicate openly about money with partners and family, set meaningful financial goals, and create a plan for the future. We’ll also look at how a financial adviser can add value by providing clarity, guidance, accountability, and peace of mind at every stage of life.
