Entries now open as businesses across West Yorkshire are invited to celebrate success, innovation and resilience
West Yorkshire, UK – The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of its Business Celebration Awards for 2026 at the Accu Stadium in Huddersfield on Wednesday 2 December 2026, with nominations now open for businesses and individuals across West Yorkshire.
Now in their fifth year, the awards recognise outstanding achievement, innovation, leadership and positive contributions to the region’s business community.
From ambitious young businesses and growing organisations to inspirational leaders, manufacturers and training providers, the awards aim to highlight the organisations and individuals making a difference across Mid Yorkshire.
Celebrating Regional Business Success
The 2026 awards feature 14 categories, offering businesses and individuals the opportunity to be recognised for their achievements and contribution to the region.
Categories include:
- Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year
- Community Cohesion & Inclusion Award
- Investing in People Award
- Business Leader of the Year
- Manufacturing Excellence Award
- Young Business of the Year
- Scale-Up Business of the Year
- Outstanding Contribution to the Region Award
- Circular Business of the Year
- Innovator of the Year
- Calderdale Business of the Year
- Kirklees Business of the Year
- Wakefield Business of the Year
- Chamber Member of the Year
Applications are now open to all businesses. Interested organisations can either-self nominate or nominate another business they feel deserves an award. More information about each category and the application form can be found on the Mid Yorkshire Chamber website. The deadline for submissions is Midnight on the 11th of October.

Celebrate with the Awards Evening in Huddersfield
Following the submissions, the awards will culminate in a celebration evening at the Accu Stadium in Huddersfield on Wednesday 2 December 2026.
The event will bring together hundreds of business leaders, decision-makers and partners from across the region to celebrate the achievements of the Mid Yorkshire business community.
