Accu was founded 13 years ago in co-founders Martin and Antony’s bedrooms. They saw an opportunity to offer an exceptional e-commerce experience to engineers and manufacturers, disrupting the traditional methods of bulky paper catalogues, uncertain pricing & waiting for confirmed lead times, when other purchases could be made in just a few clicks and delivered the next day. The Business of the Month Award, presented by Eaton Smith Solicitors, celebrates outstanding businesses in the Kirklees, Calderdale, and Wakefield regions. Monthly winners are selected based on criteria such as innovation, community impact, and business excellence.
Ben Jackson chaired the judging panel and was joined by Martin Hathaway (Mid Yorkshire Chamber), Annie Bradley (Department for Business & Trade), and Ant Milnes (Leonard Curtis).
