HOT Networking – The Importance of Building a Founder-Led Personal Brand

HOT Networking takes place on the second Wednesday of every month, from 8am – 10am, at the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre, Halifax.

Designed to be relaxed, friendly, and genuinely useful, HOT Networking allows time to connect with other professionals while also enjoying insightful talks that can positively impact the way you work and grow your business. The event is hosted by local Calderdale charity Halifax Opportunities Trust, in partnership with Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and AD:Venture.

Harry will be sharing why building a founder-led personal brand can be a powerful way to grow trust, increase visibility and help your business stand out.

The Importance of Building a Founder-Led Personal Brand

Harry Scott-Peters started his business ‘Personal Brand Power’ after seeing the power of personal brands when working in franchising. Fast forward a few months, he spotted a gap in the market for the property industry and started ‘Show and Sell Property Media’, getting estate agents on camera to connect with vendors and buyers. Soon, he will be launching ‘Yorkshire Podding’ Podcast and Content Studio to help founders and teams connect with their audiences and become thought leaders in their space.  

He will be speaking about the importance of building a founder-led personal brand and why audiences increasingly connect with people rather than companies. The session will explore how authenticity, visibility and consistent communication help businesses build trust, stand out locally and create stronger relationships with customers.

Drawing from his experience across podcasting, video production and brand storytelling, Harry  will also share practical steps attendees can take to start building their own  personal brand, including creating content, showing up online with confidence  and using storytelling to connect more effectively with their audience

9.30am – 10am – Open Networking

Free on-site parking is available, and attendees are welcome to stay on after the session and work from the co-working space free of charge.

Complimentary hot drinks, water, fresh fruit and pastries are served at each session.
