Edwin Baker, Project Lead, says, “Our vision is clear: to inform, celebrate and empower the African diaspora home and abroad by highlighting their historical and present achievements, heritage, languages, and cultures. We aim to educate and inspire a legacy that serves as a strong foundation for current and future generations to grow, develop and succeed”.

The ADF is guided by a set of African spiritual and philosophical principles known as the Ngubo Saba, created by Dr. Maulana Ndabezitha Karenga in 1965. Our ethics reflect values such as unity (Umoja), self-determination (Kujichagulia), collective work and responsibility (Ujima), cooperative economics (Ujamaa), purpose (Nia), creativity (Kuumba), and faith (Imani).

At the ADF, we grasp the unique challenges faced by the African Diaspora and passionately believe in equipping individuals with the essential tools and skills to become influential leaders in their respective fields. Our Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Accredited Training programs provide a transformative coaching experience, empowering individuals to unlock their boundless potential and leave an indelible mark for the present and future African descendants. With tailor-made online training and development programs, we ensure accessibility and flexibility, enabling participants to learn at their own pace and convenience.
