THE RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District branch are working with FOCAL Community Group and Lindley Ward Councillors to hold their annual family event – Happy Tails!
The Fun Dog Show and Gala will go ahead on Saturday 30th September from 12pm – 4pm at Reinwood Recreational Ground, New Hey Road, HD3 4DD.
Happy Tails is a lovely day out for all the family, and of course the dog – featuring a 10-class fun dog show, Have a Go Agility, games, local trade stalls and refreshments.
Lauren Moore, RSPCA Fundraising Manager said “We can’t believe it’s been a whole year since our last Happy Tails and we’re excited to be back in Lindley again ready for another instalment of this family fun event. There is something for everyone to enjoy here and not only are we having fun, but we’re also raising vital funds for the animals in our care to help find them loving new homes. It’s a win-win for all and we can’t wait to see the local community and their dogs again on Reinwood Recreational Grounds!”
The event is free to attend, with dog show classes costing £2 per class and Have a Go Agility at just £1.

The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford and District Branch are a self-funding branch of the National RSPCA, responsible for raising money locally to support our animal welfare work. Our main aim is to rehabilitate unwanted, abandoned and abused animals and find them loving, permanent homes. The local rehoming centre relies on public donations and the generosity of its local community to keep the doors of their animal centre open. The branch care for cats, dogs and small animals and have successfully rehomed 68 dogs, 128 cats and 27 small animals so far this year.
