Sep 11, 2023

Digital Marketeers Social Progress, leading experts in all things social media, are delighted to be once again supporting the Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival in the lead-up to and during the Festival itself with social media, photography and video updates.

The much-anticipated festival, which is once again being sponsored by Vocation Brewery, will be happening over the weekend of 16th / 17th September 2023 all around the centre of Holmfirth. It will showcase some of the finest food suppliers, eateries and entertainers in and around the local area, and has an exciting programme lined up to help the event strive for maximum results and success in 2023. The award-winning social media company are keen to help bring revellers to the family-friendly festival with a smile!

Managing Director of Social Progress, Janet Bebb, said “Nowadays, digital marketing and online communication are essential tools to help the growth of events such as this and it’s great that the team behind Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival have recognised this. We are thrilled to be invited to support such a key event for the hospitality and events industry – our team are particularly excited to attend and feel the buzz around an industry that was hit hard by Covid over the past few years and shout about the amazing success now happening!

The festival will have something for all tastes, including bars from Vocation Brewery and The Nook Brewhouse, coffee from Danelaw Coffee, gin from Gin Muddlers and many more. There’s also plenty of food to sample from Greek produce from Food4Festivals and Troy Greek Street Food, Bao Buns from Super Bao Street Kitchen and a whole host of other food vendors selling traditional wares, with gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options too.

Nick Davies, Treasurer of Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival, said “We are delighted to work in partnership with Social Progress; they are an innovative and highly trustworthy social media partner. Their aim for “quality posting on social media over quantity” fits beautifully with our Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival values and ethos, plus the advantage is they have vast expertise and local knowledge to share, with a desire to understand our objectives and the wider hospitality industry. I am particularly impressed with how they have tailored the delivery of the service to complement our wishes.”

In pursuit of building a real buzz in the lead-up to the event, Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival and Vocation Brewery have joined forces to launch an exciting competition on social media, giving the public the chance to win a fantastic selection of goodies from a handful of this year’s festival exhibitors.

The lucky winner will be presented with generous prizes from the likes of Vocation Brewery, Danelaw Coffee, Yorkshire Dama Cheese, Daddy Cool’s Chilli Sauce, Hey Sweetheart Sweetshop, Castle Hill Gin and Gangplank Spirits & Preserves.

To enter, head to the Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival Instagram (@HomfirthFood) and enter the competition by 17th September 2023.

The two-day festival, held on Saturday, 16th and Sunday, 17th of September 2023, we know will be a popular event with people traveling far and wide to join in the fun. Social media partners, Social

Progress, are keen to help Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival and Vocation Brewery make this event the best yet, and progress them forward ready for the event to take place again in 2024.
