Kirklees Local Television Celebrates Significant Milestone, Reaching 1 Million Views on YouTube

Kirklees Local Television (KLTV), a grassroots Social Enterprise and local media organisation serving the vibrant communities of Kirklees, is thrilled to announce a remarkable achievement in its digital journey.

KLTV has surpassed an incredible milestone by amassing 1 million views on its YouTube channel. It is a powerful testament to the channel’s growing popularity and commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality local content.

Since its inception, Kirklees Local Television has been dedicated to providing the residents of Kirklees with comprehensive and authentic coverage of local news, events, and stories.

Recognising the evolving media landscape and the importance of digital platforms, KLTV strategically expanded its presence on YouTube to connect with a broader audience and share its content with viewers beyond the traditional broadcast medium.

With an impressive collection of thought-provoking documentaries, community spotlights, interviews, and local event coverage, Kirklees Local Television has fostered a loyal and engaged viewership.

Dr Milton Brown, CEO of Kirklees Local TV, expressed his gratitude to the original founder members of KLTV; he said: “I would like to say a big thanks to some of the original founder members Julie MacParland, Ranjit Singh, and Jonathan Rich.

“Since we started, Kirklees Council has been incredibly supportive. We’ve learnt so much from all of our partners, but the biggest thank you of all is to the volunteers and the general public.
