On 2nd September, Social Progress was thrilled to launch their new co-working, meeting and studio space above their offices in Honley, called SoPro Space.
SoPro Space is a shared and creative office environment, consisting of a hot-desking area, a meeting room and a professional photography studio, all of which allow flexibility and versatility for small businesses and others who work remotely.
The Social Progress team welcomed many local businesses, organisations and individuals to the launch, who helped them celebrate the opening of SoPro Space with refreshments and cakes from local business Wired Coffee and Cake.
Social Progress owner Janet Bebb said “With the last couple of years changing how many people work, we saw many enquiries about the hire of the meeting rooms we already have in our offices here at Social Progress, so when the offices upstairs became available, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to expand our business services, open SoPro Space, and provide a valuable service for many local businesses and organisations.”
The exciting development of the space looks to be just what the local community needs, with SoPro Space already receiving bookings from a whole range of organisations; from business development training to team away-days, and even weekly sewing classes – there really is something for everyone! And with the cost of working from home likely to increase in the coming months, Social Progress expect their new co-working space to become busy very quickly.
Local business owner and Secretary of Honley Business Association, June McClean said “It was great to attend the launch of Social Progress’ new venture, SoPro Space. It will be an asset to our local community and great place for local businesses to work from and use for meetings, training, photography and video production.”
SoPro Space is available to book now.
