When the pandemic showed no sign of coming to an end at the beginning of 2021, Composer and Lyricist, Laurence Mark Wythe contacted John Danbury, Managing Director of Visualize Films, to see whether a film adaptation of his stage musical, ‘Tomorrow Morning’ would be possible after the planned stage production was declared unable to go ahead. John of course said ‘yes’, and the rest as you might say, was history.

As pre-production kicked off in rapid time, John Danbury recognised the film would need a social media presence to get the word out and create a buzz around the new film. He contacted local social media firm, Social Progress, who put together a bespoke package for promoting the film on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Social Progress specialise in all things social media, from social media training, to social media advertising and account management. They work with businesses to put together a tailored strategy plan, before working alongside them to engage their audience and attract new business.

Janet Bebb, Owner of Social Progress, said “We were delighted to be chosen to support the social media management and online promotion of Tomorrow Morning up until it was ready to be handed back over to the film-makers in January 2022. I have known John for several years through networking and the local business community, and he is always a pleasure to work with. Tomorrow Morning was a fantastic project to be involved in, and it’s great to share the success of local film-makers with the wider world.”

Since launching the social media accounts for Tomorrow Morning, Social Progress has seen followers from across the globe, as well as many film-makers, celebrities and members of the cast engaging with the photos and videos they shared.

Social Media Account Manager, Joanna Bradley, said “Tomorrow Morning the Movie was a great project to be involved in. It was exciting to see sneak peeks from behind the scenes, and be able to share this with Tomorrow Morning’s dedicated fans. The casting is truly brilliant, and it was great to see the excitement generated when word got out!”

“Part of the joy of working at Social Progress, is the vast variety of clients we work with, and projects we get involved in. From manufacturing, to food and drink, to business support, to property, we support businesses in all sectors to get seen on social media. Working with Visualize Films has been a truly exciting experience, and has given a true insight into all that goes on behind the red curtain.”

“We are all very excited to see Tomorrow Morning when it hits cinemas this week, and just know it will be a huge success. We’re keeping our eyes and ears open for Visualize Films’ next project, and look forward to seeing what their next venture is.”

Tomorrow Morning, the feature film adaptation of the critically acclaimed stage musical “Tomorrow Morning” written by composer, Laurence Mark Wythe and directed by Nick Winston, is scheduled for a cinema release on 6th September 2022.
