The Corporate & Commercial Team of Chamber Patrons Eaton Smith were named “Team of the Year – Business Law” in the national LawNet Awards which were presented on Friday 1st July 2022
The team were recognised for all of their work but, in particular, the huge range of transactions that they work upon and their nationally recognised work in the video games industry. Those transactions included the sale, earlier this year, of Sandringham Financial Partners Limited to M&G Plc on behalf of Ken Davy and his family, a business that the team set up for them in 2012.

The LawNet Awards were presented at the LawNet Annual Conference which welcomed law firms from all over the UK to The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport. Partner and Head of Property, James Burgess, attended the LawNet Conference on behalf of Eaton Smith and had this to say, “I was delighted to attend the 2022 LawNet Annual Conference and was extremely proud to collect the “Team of the Year – Business Law” award on behalf of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Team.”
