Effective since the 1st October 2021, exporters via Sea Freight to Egypt now have to comply with the Advanced Cargo Information System (ACI) and submit all cargo and shipping documents through the CargoX platform. From 1st October 2022, this will also apply to shipment via Air. This half day training course will cover everything you need to know to be able to trade successfully with Egypt.

This course will provide an overview of the agreement with Egypt, the documentation required and will provide information on ACI and CargoX.

  • Egyptian Tariff
  • The new UK Egypt trade agreement including – the Rules of Origin including:
    • Cumulation rules and countries
    • Individual product rules
    • Proof of Origin requirements
  • Product standards including information on the Regulatory bodies in Egypt
  • ACI (Advanced Cargo Information)
    • How the system works and the Importer and Export requirements
  • CargoX – How the system works
  • Certificates of Origin

In case you are no longer able to attend this training course, please note you must cancel your place at least 5 working days before the course. The cancellation must be in writing and sent to Export indicating the name of the course you are cancelling for and delegate(s) details. If a booking is not cancelled and the delegate does not attend, full event costs will still apply.

Cost per person for this half day course is £185 + VAT for Chamber members and £230 + VAT for non-members.
